CN Projects – Survey & Timber Re-decks

GeoMetrix is frequently retained by the Canadian National Railway to prepare timber tie re-deck drawings for open deck plate girder or truss bridges. The typical scope of work includes:

– Survey and field review.

– Processing and desktop review of survey data.

– Alignment iterations in accordance with CN’s track standards, structural limitations, Transport Canada requirements, and AREMA guidelines.

– Preparing re-deck drawings for the bridge (Timber ties) including walkway addition if needed.
