GeoMetrix was retained by the developer of a new commercial development in Sherwood Park. The internal road network needed to cross a 24” diameter crude oil pipeline that needed to be protected to ensure there was no damage due to traffic loads. A precast concrete crossing slab system as designed and detailed by GeoMetrix for installation at this location to ensure that the fill and traffic produced no additional loads on the pipeline once installed.
