Aspen Trail Pedestrian Bridge

GeoMetrix was retained by Select Engineering to coordinate the design of this bowstring pedestrian bridge for the Aspen Trail Community in Sherwood Park, Alberta. This 15 m long bridge connects the shared use path over a drainage channel which is connected to a nearby storm water pond. The design of substructure was composed of concrete abutments on cast-in-place concrete piles. GeoMetrix also provided construction review services to confirm that the construction was in accordance with the engineered drawings and specifications.
